Small act of kindness

26 10 2007

Yesterday on my walk home I popped into my local mini-market to a few bits and pieces, including a large (several litre) bag of sachets of drinking water.  The owner of the mini-market saw I would struggle with the water and gave me a lift home (OK, not a huge distance but kind anyway).  He’s also stocked up on sweet chili sauce because I asked about it for Vicky.

Other news: Water has been off again most of this week, but I’m less worried about it now.  Also I have unexpectedly acquired a gate to my vast property.  The wall on either side of the gate doesn’t exist yet (fortunately or I couldn’t get in) but I have a big black gate.  I’m also closer to getting a water tank.
